This clip is part of a one-hour-long webinar on how service designers can use storytelling in their work with Romain Pittet. You can watch the full webinar here.

In summary

  1. Use anecdotes or stories to illustrate why a particular action is the right one.

  2. Keep a stock of short stories and anecdotes to use when working in a team where experiences may differ. (read "Putting Stories to Work" by Sean Callahan to learn a system for identifying, storing, and using anecdotes effectively).

  3. When using storytelling, show rather than tell to allow the audience to decipher the meaning.
