A bit of context
This process has been imagined by the guys behind IDEO.org and the Design Kit initiative. This process called the Human Centered Design process draws on key ideas from Design Thinking and brings three simples steps to create a difference in social projects. As IDEO is one of the most well know design firms out there, this process is pretty well known in the sector.
What I like about it
Like the process made by Frog, this one made by IDEO is super simple to remember with just three simple steps. This is something that I particularly like because it ensures that team members and client don't forget the complete view of the process just because there are too many steps in it.
As this process is made by the great minds behind IDEO it's also pretty reassuring. IDEO has been very successful, so using their own process can feel like using the ways of working of the bests out there.

I found the picture of this process on the IDEO website tools section.
If you want to discover in depth guides about this process, the Design Kit website offers videos, examples and even a book you can get for free in its digital version called "The Field Guide to Human-Centered Design".
