The full question

What are some mindset shifts that can help with prioritizing more effectively?

Limit the number of possibilities and have a wish list

Start by limiting yourself to one or two opportunities or initiatives, and accept that the rest will go into a backlog or a wish list.

Think like in crisis mode

Imagine you only have one year to make significant changes. What would you do? This question can help youprioritisee your essential tasks.

Think like a millionaire

What if had unlimited funds, what would you do? This question can help you realize what tasks are most important and align with the mission.

Use votes

Use a system like dot-voting or ranking to reveal what are the best options. But before doing so, get everyone to validate the method, so that once the results come in, nobody can say: sure, that's the result, but I think the voting criterias aren't the right one.

Choose a person who will decide

Have a decision-maker or group established at the start of the process that will take the decision.
