Yes. I mostly work from home, and I consider myself a service designer.
I've run workshops remotely via Teams or Zoom. I've done interviews over the phone. It works very well on my side of things.
But being 100% remote then depends on the type of people you work with. I don't work 100% from home because it's still very important for some people to be physically present.
So, I still run live workshops or meet with these types of people in person. The empathic side of the service design mindset is more important than my personal belief that we can work 100% remotely.
